Each skin type is different. Occasionally some people may notice reactions on their skin after wearing brass jewellery due to the pH value of their skin. Brass in contact with skin can show the current condition of the body's organism. 

If jewellery leaves dark stains on the skin, this may indicate that the pH value of your body is unbalanced or is missing some minerals. These changes of skin are harmless and temporary, but if they bother you, avoid buying products made of zinc and brass. 

Additionally please note that in such cases we are not giving refunds. We believe that most of our products are valuable and original in their own right as every piece is hand-crafted with the additional benefit that eventually they will start looking “antique”.

Please read the description of the design and the specifications of the materials used to make the jewelry before purchase. Sometimes we make pieces that look scratched or worn out on purpose. 

International orders

International orders normally arrive within 2 weeks of shipping, with a shipping cost of 8 euros. Please note that these orders need to pass through the customs office in your country before final delivery, which can cause additional delays. If your package is returned to our facility due to a shipping error, we’ll reach out to you via the email address provided with your shipping information. If we don’t get a response within 5 business days, we reserve the right to refund your order.

Customs & Import Taxes

Please note: International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and fees, which are levied by your local customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend checking your country’s customs policy before placing an order.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Orders in Bosnia and Herzegovina normally arrive within 3 working days via BH PostExpress, with shipping costs of 8 KM.

We offer local pickup for your convenience. You can choose to pick up your order in any of our shops during opening hours.

Please note the following:

• Orders will be ready for pickup within 1–3 working days after your purchase.
• Once your order has been delivered to the selected shop, you will have 7 calendar days to collect it.
• After the 7-day period, the order will be returned to our warehouse.

REFUND AND PRODUCT RETURN POLICY

At Werkstatt, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. We understand that a product may sometimes not meet your expectations or may arrive damaged. Therefore, we have established the following refund and product return policy to address these situations.

1. Eligibility for Refunds or Product Returns

• To be eligible for a refund or product return, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it.
• A valid fiscal receipt must be presented to process a return or refund.
• Refunds can only be processed at the store where the item was originally purchased.
• Return and refund requests must be made within 30 days of the date of purchase or delivery, whichever is later.

2. Defective or Damaged Products

• If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact our customer service team promptly and provide details and photographic evidence of the issue.
• We will assess the situation and provide instructions for returning the item or arranging a refund or replacement, as appropriate.

3. Returns of Non-Defective Products

• If you wish to return a non-defective product for reasons other than damage or defects, such as a change of mind or incorrect sizing, you may do so within the specified return period.
• In such cases, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless otherwise stated by Werkstatt d.o.o.
• Once we receive the returned item and verify its condition, we will process the refund in accordance with our refund policy.

4. Refund Process

• Refunds will be processed in accordance with the original purchase and applicable fiscal requirements.
• Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account, where applicable, after the returned item has been received and inspected.

5. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

• Werkstatt d.o.o. reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds in cases of abuse of this policy, fraudulent activity, or product misuse, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
• In certain circumstances, we may offer alternative resolutions, such as store credit or exchanges, at our discretion.

6. How to Initiate a Return or Refund

• To initiate a return or refund, please contact our customer service team at info@werkstatt.ba and provide your order number, proof of purchase, and the reason for the return.
• Our team will guide you through the process and provide any necessary instructions or documentation.

7. Policy Updates

• Werkstatt d.o.o. reserves the right to update or modify this refund and product return policy at any time. Any changes will take effect upon publication on our website, subject to applicable laws and regulations.

Before you begin taking your measurements, pick the finger on which you want to wear your ring. The fingers on your dominant hand tend to be larger than those on your non-dominant hand, so keep that in mind when measuring for your ring size.

1. Take a piece of string, ribbon, thread, or a thin strip of paper and wrap it around your finger, close to the knuckle.

2. With a pen, carefully mark the spot where the string overlaps with its end and either hold it up to a ruler that has millimeter measurements, or to the graphic below.
